Join the team as a Quantity Surveyor responsible for overseeing the financial management of construction and engineering projects from start to finish. Youll ensure accurate cost planning forecasting budgeting and commercial oversight while working closely with project managers procurement and finance teams.
Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates budgets and financial forecasts for active and upcoming projects.
Track and manage project costs expenditures and accruals regularly.
Review and validate contractor and supplier quotations variations and claims.
Prepare cost reports and cash flow projections for management.
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation.
Support procurement with BOQ preparation and bid evaluations.
Provide commercial insights to ensure projects remain within budget.
Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with financial controls.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
35 years of relevant experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
Strong understanding of cost control accruals and budgeting.
Proficiency in QS software (CostX Candy or similar) and MS Excel.
Knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC NEC or similar) is an advantage.
Excellent analytical numerical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication negotiation and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
