Job Summary

Summary:
This role is pivotal in driving retail network expansion enhancing brand visibility and generating consistent pull across the assigned zone. The incumbent will strengthen the dealer and fabricator ecosystem to ensure sustainable profitable growth across all channels. By leveraging strategic planning market insights and cross-functional collaboration the professional will lead initiatives that optimize retail coverage improve sales performance and foster long-term channel partnerships.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify appoint and nurture new dealers and fabricators in coordination with respective distributors.
  • Map and categorize retail outlets based on potential sales volume and geographic location.
  • Develop and implement region/cluster-specific retail expansion strategies and coverage plans.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of active retailers and fabricators in SFA.
  • Drive pull-based tertiary sales through effective DGO management and influencer engagement.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing activities tailored to local market needs including storming campaigns dealer meets and fabricator meets.
  • Design implement and monitor loyalty programs to ensure high participation and engagement.
  • Support and advance digital initiatives to enhance channel performance and customer reach.
  • Monitor secondary and tertiary sales analyze trends and identify performance gaps.
  • Prepare and review monthly retail health scorecards for actionable insights.
  • Conduct regular market visits training sessions and performance evaluations.
  • Build and develop team capabilities through coaching and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in marketing supply chain and branding.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales and Marketing from a reputed institution.
  • Minimum 56 years of proven experience in the steel building materials or paints industry with a focus on South India.
