About the Role
As a Shared Lives Officer you will workas part of a team responsible for providing innovate support to people in communities to both carers (our providers) your internal partners and to the people who are eligible for services thinking outside of the box.
You will work with the carers (self-employed contractors) who support individuals some of whom may be vulnerable to help the carer to support individuals to have a fulfilled life ambitions and future planning no two people are the same. Youll be required to promote the service recruit and at the same time support our carers to aid the individuals in our service to be as independent as they feel they can be making a positive difference to their lives of both the carer and the individual making Shared Lives the Best.
Alongside your work with carers you will be required to develop a good understanding of our compliance and monitoring processes carry out home visits which are guided by CQC theres a good structure but we want you to bring your innovation too.
You need to be super organised have a kind heart be strong and directional when needed and be a great team member. And you need to be able to adapt to change quickly.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
You may be required to workout of hours; this will be agreed with your manager in the first instance.
