Job Description

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the day to day management of the South Carolina Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities training program and the management for the MHCB Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Training grant. The Coordinator will be responsible for co-management along with the project director in all aspects of the SC LEND training activities.

MUSC Minimum Requirements

A bachelors degree and two years relevant program experience.

Job Duties:

  • 25% - The Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing the NIRS database for faculty and trainee activities related to the SC LEND program and MCHB DBP training grant and will be responsible for the preparation of annual reporting requirements and assisting with grant writing.

  • 20% - The Program Coordinator will co-manage the online training course with the didactic course director. Duties include obtaining and posting all lectures and materials serving as a trainee contact person for course monitoring trainee progress on each module and grading module.

  • 20% - The Program Coordinator is responsible for creating and updating all required SC LEND documents i.e. Completion/updating SC LEND website preparing the orientation modules e-portfolio brochure recruitment flyer key points training manual updates medium term curriculum certificate of completion acceptance letters orientation material PowerPoint slides for meetings academic calendar.

  • 10% - The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the management of all advertising preparation and dissemination of the SC LEND outreach activities. Is responsible for public relations activities related to LEND. Is the liaison for lecture series and CME events (AHEC); update CME application yearly for SC LEND and DBP trainings.

  • 10% - Along with the training directors the Program Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing recruitment onboarding training and ongoing monitoring of trainees including ensuring that trainees create and adhere to all appropriate individualized leadership training plans for both programs.

  • 5% - The Program Coordinator will work as a liaison and point person between state agencies and other partners the public and SC LEND. The Program Coordinator will also serve as liaison and primary point person for SC LEND and AUCD activities.

  • 5% - The Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring faculty are compliant on their training requirements and progress reports. Responsible for setting up all communication between faculty and regular meetings for compliance. The Program Coordinator will assist the PI with creation of yearly budget budget justification and carryover. Assist in travel and supply requests and reimbursements monitoring grant funds throughout the year and serve as point person to other 2 SC LEND sites regarding the budget (Prisma Health and USC).

  • 5% - Other duties as assigned.
