Project Engineer III
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer III to oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for complex large-scale DOE projects. This role supports full project lifecycle engineeringplanning organizing directing and executing technical assignments.
You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure compliance execution quality and timely delivery within one of the nations most critical research environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise engineering activities across multiple disciplines
- Plan and coordinate engineering assignments for designated project scope
- Interpret technical requirements and ensure quality and compliance
- Coordinate with construction procurement and operations teams
- Support project startup field engineering and plant operations activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
- 1015 years of progressive engineering experience
- DOE (Department of Energy) project experience required
- Strong background in construction and project engineering
- Experience in project design engineering startup field engineering or industrial plant operations
- U.S. Citizenship required
Work Schedule
- Shift: 5/8 (5 days per week 8 hours/day)
