Were looking for a Technical Coordinator whos ready to ensure our General Merchandise products meet the highest standards of safety quality and compliance. If youre confident navigating regulatory requirements interpreting technical documentation and partnering with the Merchandise team and our suppliers to deliver safe compliant products this is your moment.
This role is based in our Kensington Store Support Centre.
What youll be doing
- Reviewing General Merchandise products and packaging to ensure compliance with Australian Consumer Law and mandatory standards.
- Assessing test reports and certifications to confirm product safety and quality.
- Maintaining compliance records and liaising with suppliers and testing houses.
- Conducting product safety investigations and recommending corrective actions.
- Supporting training initiatives and providing technical advice to internal teams and suppliers.
- Driving continuous improvement in product compliance processes.
What youll bring
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of regulatory safety and quality standards for General Merchandise products.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian Consumer Law and product safety regulations.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and testing methodologies.
- High attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
