Production Utility 1st shift

Key Benefits:

• Hourly Wage starting at $23
• Full-time position with benefits package (medical dental and vision insurance)
• 10 hours shifts Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4pm); OT is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Perform and train employees on the following duties:
  • Open packages of raw material and fill machines with product
  • Follow all GMPs SOPs HACCP and SQF rules
  • Inspect raw materials and finished product according to the standards for the product being produced
  • Utilize various equipment and tools in a safe manner
  • Use a manual pallet jack
  • Use raw materials based on FIFO
  • Properly dispose of all garbage food waste and recycling throughout shift and document waste
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while keeping all stations well stocked
  • Monitor for any jams in line as well as monitor the metal detector bin for rejected product
  • Communicate with other positions throughout entire shift
  • Participate in all changeovers
  • Monitor possible issues throughout the whole line and bring to the attention of the line lead or supervisor
  • Rotate through all entry-level positions
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Complete training documentation
• Deliver feedback in a constructive manner
• Participate in review process for new hires

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Ability to understand written or spoken English instructions;
• Bilingual in spanish a plus
• Ability to work individually and as a member of a team
• Organization and time management skills required
• Technical/mechanical skills desired
• Ability to work with pork dairy soy wheat egg shellfish nut products and fish
