Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Spokane Valley WA 99216
Job Duration: 04 weeks with possible extension
Shift Timing: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM (Mon Tues Wed Fri)
Job Description
The Medical Assistant will provide comprehensive support to both the front and back office. Responsibilities include greeting and rooming patients scheduling appointments managing phone calls taking vitals drawing blood administering vaccines and delivering general clinical support as needed.
A strong collaborative relationship with the clinic staff is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (in addition to externship)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Must have phlebotomy/venipuncture experience
EMR experience required
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work in a patient-centered environment focused on health education and outreach
