Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot in a cloud native architecture
Build and deploy RESTful APIs integrated with various AWS services API Gateway Lambda S3 CloudTrail SNS SQS CloudWatch RDS DynamoDB etc
Design and implement event driven architectures using AWS messaging and streaming services
Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform for repeatable automated cloud deployments
Contribute to CI CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Ensure robust monitoring logging and security practices using AWS CloudWatch CloudTrail and IAM policies
Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning retrospectives code reviews and daily stand ups
Collaborate with frontend DevOps and QA teams to deliver end to end solutions
Ensure code quality performance optimization and test coverage through automated unit integration testing
Work across tech stacks where needed with exposure to NET services and integration points
Required Skills and Experience:
8 - 10 years of hands on experience in backend development
Strong experience with Java 17 Spring Boot Spring Cloud and Microservice architecture
Proven experience with AWS core services API Gateway Lambda S3 CloudTrail SNS SQS CloudWatch RDS DynamoDB ECS EKS and IAM
Strong understanding of API design principles REST standards and security OAuth2 JWT Cognito
Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK CloudFormation for infrastructure automation
Working knowledge of NET C# for cross stack integration and legacy service interaction
Proficient in Git GitHub GitLab and branching strategies
Experience with Agile methodologies Scrum Kanban
Familiarity with CI CD tools GitHub Actions Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
Experience with containerization Docker and orchestration ECS EKS Kubernetes
Strong understanding of testing frameworks JUnit Mockito Postman Newman etc and QA automation integration
Knowledge of monitoring logging and tracing tools Grafana Prometheus ELK or AWS native tools
Solid understanding of software architecture design patterns and best practices
Experience with Serverless Framework or SAM
Exposure to Python or for AWS Lambda scripting
