Job Summary

Create Precise Cost Estimates: Prepare detailed material and labor takeoffs and price all project components for major construction bids.
Manage Subcontractor Bidding: Lead the full subcontractor bid process including solicitation scope review and price negotiation to ensure competitive bids.
Analyze and Apply Market Data: Research current material and labor costs as well as construction market trends to ensure estimates are accurate and competitive.
Collaborate on Preconstruction: Work closely with Project Management and Engineering teams to ensure estimates support construction feasibility and value engineering.
Maintain Systems: Organize and update all cost data and bid records for continuous accuracy improvement.

Qualifications :

Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of direct experience in Construction Estimating.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Document Fluency: Strong ability to read interpret and coordinate construction drawings and specifications.
Software Skills: Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and industry-standard estimating/takeoff software.
