Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day administration of Linux servers including installation configuration troubleshooting and monitoring.
Support system maintenance activities such as patching performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Work with the team to manage PostgreSQL databases including setup configuration and basic optimization.
Perform database backup restoration and recovery tasks under supervision.
Support automation and scripting initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in the documentation of system processes and database configurations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Candidates must be from a technical background pursuing or completing a degree/diploma in Computer Science Information Technology Electronics or a related technical field.
Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line operations.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases (e.g. MySQL Oracle).
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash/Python) is an added advantage.
