About the Galaxy Summer Internship Program:
The Galaxy HK Summer Internship Program is an immersive and exciting nine-week experience taking place on-site in our Hong Kong office. During the nine weeks you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on practical work experience across our addition to learning on the job Galaxy interns participate in professional development programming fun social events and networking opportunities with senior leaders.
We will be looking for 5 individuals for our program and each intern will be allocated to one of the following teams: Sales Quant Trading Derivatives Trading Risk and Lending.
Program Dates:June to August 2026
What youll do as a Derivatives Trading intern:
- Hands-on derivatives trading and deep dive into theoretical concepts
- Learn directly from experienced traders to gain first-hand exposure on trading desk
- Learn the scope of the products and tailored solutions offered to Galaxy clients
- Help the sales team refine coverage models and automate workflows
- Assist with the day-to-day processes of the team including (but not limited to) creating market color reports prospecting new accounts and managing existing relationships
- Grow your interest and knowledge of digital assets DeFi macro derivatives and more
What Were Looking For:
- General knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem
- Demonstrated interest in Global Markets Trading Derivatives and Strategy
- Critical Thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong emotional intelligence and a comfort level communicating with others
- Ability to multi-task quickly efficiently and accurately
- Proactive and strong team player
- Take accountability of their work
- Knowledge of Python/SQL/Excel
Eligibility Requirements:
- Undergraduate or masters students graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
- Eligible masters students must have fewer than two years of relevant full-time work experience
- Students enrolled in PhD MBA or JD programs are not eligible to apply.
