Job Summary:
As a Resident Field Service Technician this individual will provide field service support with oversight for one of our larger customer sites within a defined geographic this role you will be responsible for operating and maintaining one of our systems performing a variety of routine to complex tasks related to operation maintenance and the calibration of the equipment. This mission critical role involves potentially working on a variety of technologies including media filtration softening reverse osmosis (RO) and ultrafiltration (UF).

Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
Operate monitor and optimize equipment performance
Perform analytical testing such as turbidity hardness chlorine pH CO2 O2 SDI TOC and other site-specific testing requirements.
Assist in providing service activities including parts refurbishment maintenance calibration of equipment inspection repair performance testing customer communications project assessment and execution and telephone customer support
Have the ability to work schedules that will fluctuate based on customer and business needs / demands
Perform diagnostics testing repairs test and calibration routines on the instruments and complete all required paperwork
Accurately account for all inventory transactions associated with the repair process
Provide extensive equipment support and general hardware and software support
Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle (if applicable) and comply with all Veolia Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies

Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Strong technical mathematical and customer service skills
General knowledge of electrical equipment water chemistry and safety
Vision manual dexterity and coordination sufficient to service instruments and handle electrical equipment
Ability to learn applicable company procedures within a reasonable time from start of employment
Computer proficiency with a minimum of word processing and spreadsheets and basic data base knowledge
Ability to use ordinary hand tools calibrated tools and analytical instrumentation as well as chemically aggressive fluids such as acids and bases
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight while demonstrating significant problem-solving ability with an unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments
Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2 years
experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
Valid Drivers License
Additional Information :
Regularly work around machines electrical chemicals
Work at customer sites where instruments may be in difficult to reach spaces requiring using a ladder to reach working in close/cramped/small spaces
Regular requirement to reach with hands and arms below and above shoulder height
Regular requirement to stand sit stoop kneel crouch or crawl
Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
