Job Summary

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs in day-to-day kitchen coordination.

  • Maintain kitchen schedules rosters and attendance records.

  • Coordinate daily briefings and ensure communication flows smoothly within the kitchen team.

  • Follow up on maintenance requests for kitchen equipment.

  • Coordinate with the storekeeper and purchasing team for daily requisitions.

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of ingredients and supplies.

  • Keep records of monthly inventories and assist in cost control processes.

  • Maintain updated recipe files SOPs and HACCP documentation.

  • Handle internal communication email correspondence and kitchen-related reports.

  • Support menu planning by organizing recipe cards plating guides and costing sheets.

  • Ensure compliance with resort hygiene and sanitation standards.

  • Assist with kitchen audits and follow-up actions.

  • Coordinate training sessions for food safety hygiene and operational procedures.


Qualifications :

  • Previous experience as Kitchen Coordinator or similar administrative role in hospitality.

  • Experience in a resort environment (Maldives experience is an advantage).

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and terminology.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel Word) and familiar with inventory systems.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
