Job Summary
As part of L2/L3 GSC Maintenance in the GSC Backup you will have the following responsibilities:
- Preventive and reactive maintenance of the GNSS Service Centre (GSC) backup.
- Troubleshooting for operational systems and development of workarounds.
- Maintenance of the troubleshooting platform.
- Implementation of software configuration changes at the GSC backup.
- Support for GSC operations teams during critical activities including site hand-over.
- Software installations verification and restoration.
- Applying software patches and data migration.
- Maintenance and development of training material.
Qualifications :
You will have the following qualifications:
- Engineering degree in a relevant technical field with min. 5 years of experience
- Experience in ground system AIV campaigns
- Experience in ground system operations
- Familiar with IT systems like web-based applications and server hardware
- Knowledge of Galileo Sevice Center an advantage
- Willingness to strictly follow procedures and creative enough to find workarounds if they fail
- Ability to coordinate complex tasks over team boundaries
- Interested in new and exciting things interested in constant learning
- Willing and able to travel for trainings and workshops
- An advanced level of English is mandatory
- PSC (personal security clearance) an advantage
