Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Shift: Nights 312 hours (19:0007:30)
Schedule: Six shifts every two weeks; every other weekend and select holidays required
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview:A high-acuity Emergency Department is seeking experienced night-shift RNs to care for both adult and pediatric patients. Candidates must be confident working in a fast-paced trauma environment and adaptable to a wide range of patient needs.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a busy Adult Emergency Department
Treat both adult and pediatric patients as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes
Provide accurate timely documentation using the facilitys EMR system
Adhere to schedule requirements including weekends and holidays

Requirements:

Active Registered Nurse license
Emergency Department experience required
Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center
Background in acute-care facilities of similar size and acuity
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Travelers must have prior experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma level
