Job Summary
A position is available for a Personal Lines Underwriter specializing in Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines. This role involves working with personal lines accounts across 48 states with a focus on Oklahoma and neighboring states. The position is remote with optional office locations in Oklahoma City OK and Fayetteville AR. The role requires a strong background in underwriting agency relationships and proficiency in relevant software.
Compensation Package
- Salary range: $65000 - $85000 annually with potential for higher compensation based on proven results.

Responsibilities
- Quoting new and renewal business for personal lines E&S accounts.
- Managing a book of business across multiple states with a focus on Oklahoma and surrounding regions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with agencies in licensed states.
- Collaborating with team members during monthly department meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
- Utilizing AIM and Imageright software for underwriting tasks.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a frontline underwriting role preferably with a focus on carrier relations.
- Property & Casualty license preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with AIM and Imageright software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability to new technologies and processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
This role offers the opportunity to work remotely with minimal travel requirements. Candidates should be available to work in Central Standard Time (CST) and be prepared for a structured interview process including phone and virtual interviews with the possibility of an onsite meeting.
