In 2026 we will have 224 students in years 5 and 6 with over 680 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our Primary School provides a Christ-centred and supportive learning environment where every child is known and encouraged to thrive.


This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire students in their academic growth contribute to a thriving school culture and grow professionally within a collaborative and future-focused team. The position is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to become ongoing.



Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will have:

  • Hold a valid teaching qualification and registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia demonstrating a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
  • Experience in planning and delivering high-quality programs with a focus on English Mathematics Science HASS and the Arts.
  • Possess excellent classroom management skills ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of students of differing ability levels.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills effectively collaborating with colleagues parents and the broader school community.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the values and ethos of an independent/private school along with the ability to inspire and engage students in their learning.

Essential Criteria:

  • A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Active participation in a church or Christian community exemplifying Christian beliefsbehaviour and practices.
  • Acceptance of the CollegesStatement of Faith.
  • Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board Principal staff students and parents.
  • Commitment to personal best practice.
  • Ensure decisions are impartial fact-based and fair.
  • Modelappropriate and proper channels of communication.
  • Consistently act in the best interests of the College and its ethos.
  • Adherence to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
  • Commitment tomaintaining a child-safe environment in line with the Colleges values and policies.
  • Possession of the following certifications:
  • TRBWA / National Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate
