We are seeking aLegal Assistantto join ourRecoveries and Restructuring/Commercial Litigation team in Perthon afull-time permanent basis.

About the Role

This dynamic role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with exceptional document handling and formatting skills. Key responsibilities include:

Advanced document formatting and editingin Microsoft Word ensuring high-quality professional legal documentation with precision and consistency.
Calendar management including scheduling meetings court hearings and tracking critical deadlines.
Drafting editing and preparing legal correspondence and documents with a strong focus on formatting standards and version control.
Preparing and collating Court files and Briefs to Counsel ensuring all materials are complete and meticulously presented.
Managing financial processes including high-volume end-of-month invoicing supplier invoice processing trust payments and debtor management.
Facilitating the full lifecycle of legal matters from opening files and conducting conflict checks to compliance write-offs file closure and archiving.
Handling day-to-day administrative taskswith diligence including answering calls managing mail client correspondence and printing.
Maintaining a professional and friendly demeanourwhile liaising with clients third parties and internal teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

About You

Background in legal administration support or a law student withat least two years remainingin your degree and proven experience in legal support.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word with demonstrated skills in formatting complex documents using styles templates and reviewing tools.
Fast accurate and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in ahigh-pressure deadline-driven environment.
Discreet and conscientious in handling sensitive information.
Experience withElite or similar finance softwarefor managing expenses billing and reporting.
Strong working knowledge ofOutlook Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to produce polished and professional documentation.
