Job Description - Job Title: Grinder Operator. FLSA Status: Hourly. Department: Operations. The Grinder Operator sets up programs and operates grinding equipment including assembly and disassembly to support raw material processing. Responsibilities include unloading and debagging product using knives or safety blades weighing product verifying scale accuracy and loading product into the grinder per customer specs. Operators must identify all raw materials follow work instructions check for foreign objects and report equipment issues immediately. Daily duties include maintaining a clean GMP-compliant work area disassembling equipment for sanitation following LOTO procedures and preparing machines for cleaning. Good attendance flexibility for overtime and weekends and adherence to safety policies are required. No certifications needed; bilingual skills are a plus. Education: High school diploma or up to one month of related experience or training. Physical demands: frequent standing walking use of hands and arms; occasional stooping kneeling or climbing. Lifting includes up to 25 pounds regularly and heavier weights less frequently. Work is performed in cold and freezer environments below 40F and 0F with regular exposure to wet humid conditions moving mechanical parts and moderate noise.
