About the role

  • Provide evidence-based person-centred dietetic care to patients.

  • Actively participate in clinical supervision

  • Deliver individualised nutrition assessments and interventions.

  • Contribute to the development of educational resources in nutrition.

  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nutrition research and best practise while working within a supportive professional development-focused environment

About you

  • A degree in Nutrition and Dietetics recognised by Dietitians Australia preferably with Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status. Overseas applicants must have completed the Dietitians Australia DSR process before applying.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing dietetic services in a hospital environment

  • Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams as well as the ability to work independently when required.

  • Strong commitment to professional development including a minimum of 30 hours of continuing professional development per year.

  • Proficient in using computer applications including Cbord and Microsoft Office Suite with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
