The Boeing CompanyWe are seeking a Facilities Strategic Planning Manager (Level K) to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREPs) organization leading a team of strategic planners located in Everett Washington.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett Washington.
Our Strategic Planning team partners with multiple organizations within Boeing to include Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Boeing Global Services (BGS) and our Corporate Enterprise functions.
This role involves effective leadership collaboration & relationship management with stakeholders across these multiple organizations.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employee activities within the facilities occupation including facilities planning; collaboration and integration with our facilities teams to include analysts project & property administrators facilities provisioning engineering construction and plant & equipment maintenance
Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers business partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers
Manages leads coaches develops and motivates employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience leading or managing a team
3 years of experience developing strategic long range business plans
3 years of experience developing & delivering presentations to senior leaders
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree
5 years of experience with real estate project management and space planning
3 years of experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs
Experience with planning project budgets and monitoring financial performance
