Project / Department description
You will join the PDP PRD FE Subsea Facilities (SF) sector a competence and resource unit responsible for all Subsea Facilities resources in the project portfolio from DG0 to DG4.
Main responsibilities of the unit:
- Provide projects with project engineers task managers and project managers.
- Develop personnel competence across technical disciplines project development and leadership.
Organization:
- 6 departments with approximately 30 employees each.
- 4 Leading Advisors within Subsea Facilities.
- Competence center offering a broad range of deliveries.
The Role:
You will be part of the Flexible Pipe Portfolio Team which manages:
- All engineering and ITT processes prior to award.
- Supplier follow-up during execution until delivery.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Flexible Pipe Engineer you will work with risers and flexible pipes in activities such as:
- ITT (Invitation to Tender) preparation.
- Follow-up on project execution and delivery.
- Prepare documentation according to client requirements for project decision gates.
- Occasional offshore work.
Competence Requirements
- Experience with global analysis and design of riser systems (advantage).
- Experience with flexible pipe cross-section design (advantage).
- Experience with structural engineering (advantage).
- Experience with riser/flexible design and installation (advantage).
- Masters degree preferably in marine/naval engineering (advantage).
- Strong focus on SSU ethics and company values.
- Team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver results and manage third-party scope.
- Structured and systematic approach.
- Commercial mindset.
- Proficient in English both oral and written.
- Flexible regarding travel within Norway and abroad
