The Hybrid Technology Hub Centre of Excellence at Oslo University Hospital and University of Oslo Norway ( is currently accepting applications for a 1 year position as a special engineer (100 % position).
The special engineer will join the Hybrid Technology Hub (Centre of Excellence) at Oslo University Hospital/University of Oslo and take part in a research project funded by the Norwegian Cancer Society (). In the tumor microenvironment the interactions between tumor/vascular/immune cells affect the integrity of the system and promote metastasis and resistance to therapy. The project aims to develop a microfluidic TumoronChip (ToC) platform for drug testing. The work will be developed within an interdisciplinary research environment combining cancer biology immunology vascularization and advanced organ-on- chip technology.
The work will include culture of endothelial cells and 3D organoids in microfluidic platforms that have been developed at the Centre. The laboratory engineer will also assist with RNA/DNA isolation qPCR ELISA and flow cytometry.
