Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $120000 to $140000 annually (based on experience)

Responsibilities

Schedule: Monday Friday (8am-4:30pm) paid lunch break
Provide comprehensive eye exams to an average of 1213 patients per day (64 patients per week)
Diagnose and manage vision conditions such as nearsightedness farsightedness and glaucoma
Prescribe eyeglasses and medications as needed
Educate patients on eye care and vision correction options
Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record system (EHR)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the facility
Ensure equipment is maintained and operational
Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists as needed

Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution
Active optometry license in the state of Ohio
Minimum 2 years experience working as a practicing optometrist
Strong communication and patient education skills
