Number of Beds: 16Patient Ratios : 2:1 and 1:1Unit staffing description: self scheduling with feedback from supervisorsType of equipment : variousDocumentation system: MeditechScheduling requirements: every other weekend overtime availableFloating policy: can be floated as needed to other ICUs depending on volume and acuity. On rare occasion may be floated to PCUMust have:2 years ICU previous CVICU experience Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:Meditech experience preferredHemodynamic monitoring ACLS CPR Ventilated patients. Post CABG care Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:Active Texas RN License-Temp license will not be accepted Procedures performed on unit: Multiple via intensivist Patient Experience Required:Bedside shift report required with updates to white board. Rudeness is not tolerated
