Your mission

As a Product Development Engineer II youll own new product development from sketch to start-of-production. Picture this: You meet with Sales and Customer Service to clarify requirements huddle with Production and Quality to lock in critical-to-quality characteristics then iterate designs in SolidWorksvalidating with Simulation/FEA and locking down GD&Tbefore building fixtures and ironing out process details on the line. You keep projects on schedule within scope and on spec.

How youll make an impact

  • Create product subassembly and component designs using SolidWorks 3D CAD.
  • Engineer for manufacturability scalability and quality using DFM best practices.
  • Juggle multiple projects while managing timelines and deliverables.
  • Author and maintain drawings BOMs ECRs and assembly instructions.
  • Apply GD&T to part and assembly drawings for precise repeatable builds.
  • Design fixtures tooling and process improvements to streamline in-house manufacturing.
  • Partner closely with Sales Customer Service Production and Quality to hit shared goals.
  • Engage in design reviews technical meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion safety and quality standards in everything you deliver.

What it takes

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 years in mechanical design engineering.
  • SolidWorks proficiency across CAD PDM and Simulation/FEA.
  • Experience with documentation control quality standards GD&T and ERP systems.
  • Hands-on assembly and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong problem solver and clear communicator who thrives cross-functionally.

  • Salary range: $90000 $110000 USD. Actual pay may be within above or below this range based on education training experience professional achievement business need and location.
