We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficientSenior Engineer or Project Managerto support and lead solid waste engineering projects across California and the western U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional with a strong background incivil or geotechnical engineeringand a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in thelandfill and environmental infrastructurespace.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Technical Execution
  • Manage and execute engineering projects related tosolid wastecivil infrastructure andgeotechnical design reporting directly to thePrincipal Engineer.
  • Lead engineering analyses using advanced geotechnical software tools for design and evaluation.
  • Oversee field activities includingconstruction quality assurance (CQA)and site observations during landfill construction and closure projects.
  • Prepare comprehensiveengineering reportsgeotechnical investigations andconstruction plans and specifications.
  • Client Interaction & Team Collaboration
  • Coordinate with clients regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure project goals budgets and timelines are met.
  • Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts through technical expertise and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Education & Licensure
  • Bachelors degree inCivil or Geotechnical Engineering(
  • California PE licenserequired;GE licensepreferred for geotechnical candidates.
  • Experience
  • Minimum10 yearsof experience incivil and/or geotechnical engineeringwith a focus onlandfill projects.

Proven experience in:

  • Geotechnical and groundwater investigations
  • Landfill expansions and closures
  • Groundwater monitoring and construction oversight
  • Project management and client coordination
