We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficientSenior Engineer or Project Managerto support and lead solid waste engineering projects across California and the western U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional with a strong background incivil or geotechnical engineeringand a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in thelandfill and environmental infrastructurespace.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Technical Execution
Manage and execute engineering projects related tosolid wastecivil infrastructure andgeotechnical design reporting directly to thePrincipal Engineer.
Lead engineering analyses using advanced geotechnical software tools for design and evaluation.
Oversee field activities includingconstruction quality assurance (CQA)and site observations during landfill construction and closure projects.
Prepare comprehensiveengineering reportsgeotechnical investigations andconstruction plans and specifications.
Client Interaction & Team Collaboration
Coordinate with clients regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure project goals budgets and timelines are met.
Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts through technical expertise and client engagement.

Qualifications

Education & Licensure
Bachelors degree inCivil or Geotechnical Engineering(
California PE licenserequired;GE licensepreferred for geotechnical candidates.
Experience
Minimum10 yearsof experience incivil and/or geotechnical engineeringwith a focus onlandfill projects.

Proven experience in:

Geotechnical and groundwater investigations
Landfill expansions and closures
Groundwater monitoring and construction oversight
Project management and client coordination
