Commercial Lines E&S Underwriter
Job Summary
An opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Lines E&S Underwriter to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic and expanding organization. This role focuses on underwriting small to mid-market commercial lines accounts primarily in the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market. The position is remote with occasional in-person meetings and events and is open to candidates located in Arkansas or surrounding states including Oklahoma Texas Louisiana Mississippi Tennessee Missouri and Kansas.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $65000 - $85000 annually with potential for higher compensation based on proven results.
- Bonus Structure: Profitability-based bonuses.

Responsibilities
- Underwrite and quote new and renewal business for small to mid-market commercial lines accounts in the E&S market.
- Focus on binding authority business across 48 states with a strong emphasis on Oklahoma and neighboring states.
- Build and maintain agency relationships within the licensed states.
- Collaborate with team members during monthly department meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
- Utilize AIM and Imageright software for underwriting processes.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a frontline underwriting role preferably within the E&S market.
- Property & Casualty license preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with AIM and Imageright software is advantageous.
- Proven ability to adapt to technology and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to balance caution with timely decision-making.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills particularly with agencies in licensed states.
- Availability to work in Central Standard Time (CST) and attend occasional in-person events.
