Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department including cleaning schedules for rooms common areas and conference facilities.
- Recruit train and manage housekeeping staff ensuring all team members are equipped for success.
- Perform quality checks and inspect rooms and public areas to ensure all spaces meet Hiltons rigorous cleanliness standards.
- Manage and maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment ensuring budgetary guidelines are met.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to coordinate room repairs and general upkeep.
- Resolve guest issues and complaints concerning housekeeping service and equipment in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare reports on activity personnel and information such as occupancy cleaning costs and department expenses.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping management role ideally within the Hilton family of brands.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Familiarity with housekeeping standards and cleaning techniques.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and cost controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
