Brokers Assistant
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Brokers Assistant to join a team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fully remote position with a dynamic and fast-growing insurance organization. The successful candidate will support a Senior Broker in managing a diverse book of business primarily focused on binding business across multiple lines of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. Compensation Package
- Salary: $65000 - $72000 annually (hourly role)
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k)
- Work Environment: Fully remote position (must be able to work PST hours)
Responsibilities
- Review incoming submissions and gather supplemental information
- Prepare accounts for underwriting review
- Issue endorsements binders and certificates of insurance
- Support the Senior Broker in managing a book of business
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in wholesale brokerage with a strong understanding of binding markets
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Familiarity with General Liability Property Inland Marine and Excess lines of business
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adhere to PST working hours
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
