A leading textile manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Industrial Engineer to optimise production processes enhance operational efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills technical insight and a passion for driving lean efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities Process Improvement & Optimisation -
Analyse current manufacturing workflows material flow and equipment utilisation to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

Develop and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency reduce waste and improve throughput.

Conduct time-and-motion studies line balancing and productivity assessments.
Production Planning & Efficiency -
Evaluate production requirements and create optimised manufacturing layouts and work methods.

Support capacity planning initiatives and assist with forecasting labour and equipment needs.
-
Monitor production metrics and recommend improvements for consistent performance.
Quality & Compliance -
Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure processes adhere to quality standards.

Identify root causes of defects or variances and propose corrective actions.
-
Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for improved consistency.
Data Analysis & Reporting -
Use statistical tools and engineering principles to evaluate production data and identify trends.

Prepare reports and present findings to management teams.
-
Track KPIs related to productivity efficiency and cost reduction.
Continuous Improvement Projects -
Lead or support lean manufacturing Six Sigma and other CI initiatives.

Work cross-functionally with production maintenance and supply chain teams to implement long-term efficiency strategies.

Facilitate training and support the adoption of best practices.
Minimum Requirements -
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

2 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment (textile experience advantageous).

Strong analytical skills with experience in process analysis workflow design and productivity optimisation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and production analysis tools; knowledge of CAD is beneficial.

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
