Job Summary
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 teacher looking for a permanent role where you can make a real difference Our welcoming and ambitious school in Barnet is seeking a passionate Year 1 teacher to join our team from January 2026.

What we are looking for:
- QTS with recent KS1 teaching experience
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging well-structured lessons
- High expectations for behaviour attainment and personal development
- Strong relationships with pupils families and colleagues
- Collaborative reflective and organised approach to teaching and learning
Key responsibilities:
- Teach a Year 1 class full-time fostering curiosity independence and a love of learning
- Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils including those with SEND
- Track pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning and next steps
- Contribute to year group and whole-school initiatives and projects
- Maintain a positive inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing confidence and resilience
- Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships supporting pupils learning and development
