Job Summary

Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher looking for a permanent role where you can make a real impact Our welcoming and ambitious school in Brent is seeking a motivated Year 1 teacher to join our team from January 2026.

What we are looking for:

QTS with recent KS1 teaching experience
Ability to deliver engaging well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
High expectations for behaviour attainment and personal development
Strong relationships with pupils families and colleagues
Collaborative reflective and organised approach to teaching and learning

Key responsibilities:

Teach a Year 1 class full-time promoting curiosity independence and a love of learning
Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils including those with SEND
Monitor pupil progress and use assessment to inform planning and next steps in learning
Contribute to year group and whole-school initiatives and projects
Maintain a positive inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence resilience and wellbeing
Engage with parents and carers to foster strong partnerships supporting pupils learning and development
