What we are looking for:

• QTS with recent KS2 teaching experience ideally including Year 6
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging well-structured lessons that challenge and inspire pupils
• High expectations for behaviour attainment and personal development
• Strong relationships with pupils families and colleagues
• Collaborative reflective and organised approach to teaching and learning
• Passion for promoting learning beyond the classroom through enrichment activities and projects

Key responsibilities:

• Teach a Year 6 class full-time preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments while fostering independence and a love of learning
• Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons tailored to pupils of all abilities including those with SEND
• Track pupil progress effectively and use assessment to inform planning and next steps in learning
• Support and contribute to whole-school initiatives and year group planning
• Maintain a positive inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing confidence and resilience
• Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships supporting pupils learning and development
