- Collaborative reflective and organised approach to teaching and learning
- Passion for promoting learning beyond the classroom through enrichment activities and projects
Key responsibilities:
- Teach a Year 6 class full-time preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments while fostering independence and a love of learning
- Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons tailored to pupils of all abilities including those with SEND
- Track pupil progress effectively and use assessment to inform planning and next steps in learning
- Support and contribute to whole-school initiatives and year group planning
- Maintain a positive inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing confidence and resilience
- Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships supporting pupils learning and development
