Must-Have Skills & Experience
Functional-to-Technical Expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials (priority order):
- Grants / Project Accounting (PPM)
- iExpense
- General Ledger (GL)
- Procurement / Purchasing
- Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Fixed Assets
- EPM knowledge is a strong plus
Deep Configuration Knowledge of Fusion Financials:
- GL hierarchies trees rollup groups and segment value security
- Approval workflows and BPM Worklist configuration
- Value sets cross-validation rules and account generators
Core Technical Skills:
- Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- Advanced SQL & PL/SQL (mandatory)
- REST/SOAP APIs and bi-directional integrations
- File-Based Data Import (FBDI) HDFDI ADLDI and spreadsheet loaders (ADFDI)
- Solid grasp of underlying Financials table structures and data model
Reporting & Analytics:
- BI Publisher report development
- OTBI subject areas analyses and dashboards
- Financial Reporting Studio / FRS structures
Nice-to-Have Technical Skills
- JavaScript / Java
- Groovy scripting for dynamic approvals and validations
Delivery & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to work independently with little oversight
- Strong technical documentation (solution designs integration diagrams data mapping)
- Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills (workflow failures accounting errors invalid configurations integration issues)
- Clear verbal and written communication will collaborate directly with functional teams business users and client stakeholders
