Job Summary
Job Summary (RN Nights - 7pm-7am EOW/Holiday Rotations 2 OC Shifts per 4-Weeks):
- Provide direct patient care during night shifts (7pm-7am) including every other weekend and holiday rotations and 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period.
- Deliver patient care across multiple units (ICU ER Med-Surg MST) demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to float as needed.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and certifications (ACLS BLS PALS NIHSS) to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain current NYS RN license and required certifications; complete additional certifications (Basic Coronary Care CPI) within specified timeframes.
- Ensure confidentiality professionalism and courteous interaction with patients families and staff.
- Prioritize tasks effectively meet deadlines and foster a team-oriented environment through positive role modeling.
- Demonstrate excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Utilize computer systems EMRs and Microsoft Office products for documentation and communication.
- Adhere to Healing Environment principles: maintain safety dignity respect and healthy relationships in all patient and staff interactions.
- Provide age-appropriate care for pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients recognizing and responding to specific developmental and health needs.
- Remain current with recommended certifications and continuing education (ENA TNCC preferred within 2 years).
