Required Qualifications
MSW from a CSWE -accredited program. Two years post- MSW practice experience (paid); eligibility for a clinical social work license ( LCSW ) in the state of Utah; evidence of potential for teaching excellence in a variety of subject areas. The position involves teaching responsibilities within a generalist social work practice framework addressing the following subjects: introductory generalist practice; social welfare policy; social work methods values and ethics; and advanced social work practice methods at the macro level (i.e. community organizations).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in a classroom in a CSWE -accredited social work department; a commitment to excellence in social work practice and education; an interest in creative program development; the ability to work in a collegial manner with social work faculty members faculty from other disciplines across compus and social work professionals in the broader community.
