As a Locum MD specializing in Radiology you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care interpreting imaging studies and ensuring patients receive accurate diagnoses. Responsibilities
- Provide expert radiological assessments and interpretations of imaging studies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient findings
- Participate in departmental meetings and case reviews
- Stay current with advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff as needed
- Engage with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical licensure in the state of practice
- Board certification in Radiology
- Previous experience in a similar locum or temporary role preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Flexible evening and weekend shifts
No call required
Shifts are available at multiple reputable facilities
Setting: On-site or remote
Daily Volume: 80-100 cases
Diagnostic caseload
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
