| Job Summary: |
This position will be responsible for assisting in the administration of the municipal conservation program of the Active Management Areas (AMAs) Section as described in Chapter 5 of the Management Plans. This position will assist with reviewing verifying entering and analyzing data from Annual Water Withdrawal & Use Reports. This position will also collaborate with other conservation program and AMA staff to consider process improvements research applications and potential issues and to address customer questions.
The ideal candidate is interested in developing an accurate understanding of applicable laws rules statutes policies and procedures in use by ADWR and communicating them to the regulated community and interested parties on a regular basis. This position requires significant interaction with the general public and will require excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely up to 3 days per week within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

This position requires possession of and ability to retain a current valid state-issued drivers license appropriate to the assignment.
| Pre-Employment Requirements: |
Candidates should have at least Four (4) years of professional level water resource management experience or a Bachelors degree and two (2) years or a Masters degree in a related field.
Candidates who do not meet the WRS 2 requirements may be considered for a Water Resources Specialist 1 position.
