Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Linux Systems Administration and Practical Knowledge:
Install configure and maintain Linux-based systems (preferably Debian distributions especially Ubuntu) ensuring optimal performance and security.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of essential Linux administration tasks such as configuring the hostname and network interfaces.
Apply operating system patches updates and manage system-level configurations.
Maintain clear documentation of system configurations and processes (approximately 75% of the role).
Requisitos
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with a strong focus on practical Linux environments.
Demonstrable ability to perform fundamental Linux administration tasks and explain the steps involved (e.g. configuring hostname network interfaces).
Proven experience writing optimizing and debugging Bash scripts for automation.
Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Ansible automation for configuration management and provisioning.
Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot basic network infrastructure (routers switches firewalls).
Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments and related technologies.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with PHP development.
Knowledge of IPTV (plus).
Familiarity with JIRA for ticket management.
Understanding of web UI support and troubleshooting.
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
