Regional Director Medical Services
ME Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Medical Services (RDMS) to lead and support medical service delivery across a diverse region.
About the Role
In this permanent full-time position you will:
- Balance clinical practice (0.5 FTE) with strategic and leadership responsibilities (0.5 FTE).
- Drive safer more connected healthcare for unique communities.
- Provide leadership across multiple facilities and collaborate with a regional referral centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee medical service delivery and clinical governance.
- Support and mentor medical staff.
- Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship in General Practice (FACRRM or FRACGP/FRACGP-RG/FARGP).
- Advanced skills in one or more areas: Emergency Medicine Remote Medicine Adult Internal Medicine Paediatrics Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Mental Health or Small Town General Practice.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Ability to meet pre-employment screening and vaccination requirements.
