Job Summary

Regional Director Medical Services

ME Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Regional Director of Medical Services (RDMS) to lead and support medical service delivery across a diverse region.

About the Role

In this permanent full-time position you will:

  • Balance clinical practice (0.5 FTE) with strategic and leadership responsibilities (0.5 FTE).
  • Drive safer more connected healthcare for unique communities.
  • Provide leadership across multiple facilities and collaborate with a regional referral centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee medical service delivery and clinical governance.
  • Support and mentor medical staff.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship in General Practice (FACRRM or FRACGP/FRACGP-RG/FARGP).
  • Advanced skills in one or more areas: Emergency Medicine Remote Medicine Adult Internal Medicine Paediatrics Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Mental Health or Small Town General Practice.
  • C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
  • Ability to meet pre-employment screening and vaccination requirements.
