DescriptionConnect with us on the latest advanced avionics within the Electronic Solutions Platform Organization where we have an immediate need for a top-performing Lead Project Engineer to join our project engineering team that will innovate and create the hardware electronics we are seeking someone who brings the right experience leading avionics-based product designs with the Anthem product line Team.
Be the leader of a team assessing and driving achievement for key Hardware development working closely with Technical Engineers across disciplines Project Engineers from other groups and the Program Managers. You will partner with the technical resource managers assist with staffing and be the primary focal for program cost schedule and technical issue coordination and escalation. You will lead prioritization of work packages design goals and objectives and drive overall program performance and coach more junior Project Engineers. The Platforms Center-of-Excellent Engineering team includes diverse Software Electrical Mechanical and FPGA/ASIC teams and you will coordinate all of them with our Anthem customer programs.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Project planning status execution and escalation
- LRU hardware development through test qualification and TSO.
- Drive clear communications between Technical leaders and Project Engineers
- Optimize the team through procedural improvements and automations
- Driving HW/SW quotation estimate efforts and approvals
- Facilitating various teams to solutions and agreement
- Drive and improve project engineering practices forHardware Test & Software groups
- Process champion: project-specific operating systems and larger reuse and multi-project considerations
- Mentoring junior engineers
QualificationsUS PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations candidate must be a U.S. Person which is defined as a a U.S. permanent resident or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability toobtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
- To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen lawful permanent resident of the U.S. protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

- Familiarity with Hardware design testing certification.
- Previous engineering experience in relevant Systems or Hardware design.

- Prior experience as a people manager
