Job Summary

Our client is a busy mechanical assembly workshop with a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to help assist in the workshop assemble small trailers and fix any pain defects. Full training is provided with the opportunity to upskill in a variety of different areas.

Duties include:

Mechanical assembly of trailers
Assembling sub-assemblies with mainly bolts
Use of hand and/or power tools
Forklift operating (FOSH)
May assist with fixing any paint defects on horse floats
General labouring duties around the workshop

You will be required to work:Monday - Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm based in Middleton.

The starting rate for this position is: $25.00p/h 8% Holiday Pay.

The successful candidate will:

Be capable of repetitive heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
An interest in mechanical assembly
Have own reliable transport
Be available for an immediate start long-term
