Tool Room Technician

A global leader in fuel systems is adding a Tool Room Technician to their team. The Tool Room Technician provides precision-machining support including grinding milling and turning using both conventional and CNC equipment. This role supports business and production goals related to safety quality delivery and cost.
Tool Room Technician Responsibilities:
- Tackle intricate machining projects from concept to completion analyzing needs selecting the perfect tools and materials then planning and executing with surgical precision.
- Craft high-tolerance mission-critical components and tooling using state-of-the-art tool room and prototype equipment.
- Partner closely with engineering and production teams to design and develop innovative fixtures custom tooling and optimized manufacturing processes.
- Set up and run manual and CNC machines (mills lathes grinders EDM etc.) to produce everything from one-off prototypes to production-ready tooling.
- Interpret complex mechanical drawings blueprints and GD&T like second nature.
- Keep your workspace impeccably organized and uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Bring your ideas to the table in a collaborative team-first environment where continuous improvement is part of the culture.
- Leverage your expertise in AutoCAD SolidWorks Creo and CAM software (Mastercam experience is a big plus).
Tool Room Technician Qualifications:
- 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
- 5 years of proven tool-making and precision fabrication skills.
- Mastery of setup programming and operation of tool room equipment.
- A sharp eye for detail a disciplined approach and the ability to deliver flawless work under deadline.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction (both internal and external).
- A passion for getting better every day and helping the entire team raise the bar.
