Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Dietitian Clinical Nutritionfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Responsibilities
Deliver medical nutrition therapy to patients in an acute care setting.
Conduct nutritional assessments create care plans and track progress.
Document evaluations and recommendations in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Work collaboratively with nurses physicians and other care team members.
Provide patient and family education on nutrition and dietary needs.
Participate in rotating weekend schedules and flexible weekday shifts.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Dietetics or a related field.
Completion of an ACEND-accredited dietetics program.
Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) required.
Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care inpatient setting.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
