Position Summary:
The Patient Care Technician will provide basic care activities and provide personal needscomfortand safetyofyour patient. The Patient Care Technicianassistswith the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility will befocuson performing technical therapeutic administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been trained. The Patient Care Technician mustdemonstratethe ability and willingness toparticipatein a patient care team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change.

Vital Signs
Height and Weight
Oxygen Saturation
Reporting all unusual observations to the nurse
Collecting various specimens for analysis
Recording and measuring intake and output
Providing patient with personal care andassistingwith daily activities
Performing basic clinical procedures independently or under the supervision of the RN
Provide nutritional needs including assisting and ordering room service setting up meal trays and feeding.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read/write and perform basic 4 function math
Desire to help people and/orhave aspirationsof becoming a healthcare professional
Basic computer skills (preferred)
Medical terminology (preferred)
Basic Life Support certification (BLS)within90 daysof hire.
Certification/License:CNACertification preferred but notupon hire BLS
Pay Range:
$21.50 - $28.94The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors that may include seniority education training relevant experience relevant certifications geographyof work location job responsibilities or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials call pay premium pay overtime pay and other additional pay practices as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
