As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank organization you will play a crucial role as part of an agile team dedicated to enhancing building and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable manner.

Job responsibilities

• Partners with business stakeholders to gather requirements design solutions and define future strategies for architecture and application development
• Collaborates with stakeholders to onboard new marketing tools guiding them through firmwide onboarding processes to enhance user engagement
• Translates business and functional requirements into technical designs aligned with enterprise-level architecture standards
• Develops and maintains Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components to support high-availability high-traffic sites
• Diagnoses debugs and resolves technical issues related to CMS implementation and complex system integrations
• Collaborates with cross-functional technical teams on application deployment performance optimization monitoring reliability and scalability
• Design and develop reusable templates components and services in partnership with technology product and business teams
• Builds and optimizes web user interfaces using AEM and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React) ensuring cross-browser/platform compatibility and speed
• Works closely with design business analysis project management and content teams to ensure technical feasibility design quality and timely delivery of web assets
• Supports global teams across time zones and collaborate on A/B testing requirements definition and cross-platform design initiatives

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
• Hands-on coding experience in Java HTML CSS JavaScript and RESTful APIs
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture components templates and workflows
• Demonstrated knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems

• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Strong understanding of SEO web analytics and performance optimization
