There are over 5000 in the world and were all inventive and hugely passionate about what we do. At our Development Centre in Johor Bahru Malaysia & Singapore there are almost 1600 of us a mixture of engineers and support staff we are Dyson people that are encouraged to think differently challenge convention and be unafraid to make mistakes. Our teams will continue to grow as Dyson ramp up forays into different areas.

The Role:

Leadpartners todesignand launch the advanced manufacturing processes that build Dysons unique (CM)andJointDesignManufacturers(JDM) on FATP stage tosolve challengestoensurewedeliverhigh-qualityproductswith ONs(ON TIME ON SPEC ON COST ON QUALITY)

Key Responsibilities

-Lead&Develop:

Coachandgrowateamofhigh-performingManufacturingEngineers

-DriveCM/JDMExecution:

-SolveHardProblems:

Tacklecomplexnoveltechnicalissuesdirectlyontheproductionlineofteninreal-timewithourmanufacturingpartners.

-De-Risk&Validate:

Leadequipmentcommissioningandvalidation(IQ/OQ/PQ)atCM/JDMfacilitiesensuringallprocessesmeetDysonsrigorousstandards.

-Optimize&Improve:

Usedataandengineeringrigor(likeDOEandSPC)tooptimizeprocessesimproveyieldandsolveproductionfailureswithintheCM/JDMenvironment.

-CollaborateGlobally:

Workhands-onwithinternalteamsandexternalpartnerstogetthejobdone. traveltopartnersitesisrequired.

Qualifications and Experiences

-BachelorsdegreeinMechanical Electrical industrialization Electronics orarelatedengineeringfield.
-10yearsofexperience indesigningandlaunchingadvancedproductionline.

-Provenexperienceasastrongpeopleleaderandmentor.

-Have average knowledge on the tests and automation.

-DeepCM/JDM/OEMManagementExperience:
*AproventrackrecordofdevelopingandlaunchingmanufacturingprocessesdirectlywithContractManufacturers(CM)and/orJointDesignManufacturers(JDM).
*Experienceindrivingtechnicalreviewsdesignformanufacturability(DFM)andcostnegotiationswithexternalpartners.
*Abilitytoholdexternalpartnersaccountableforperformancequalityanddeliverytimelines.

-Deephands-onexpertisein:
*ProcessValidation(IQ/OQ/PQ)atexternalpartnersites.
*DesignofExperiments(DOE)andstatisticaltools().

-Ahands-onproblem .

-Theabilitytoworkautonomouslyandeffectivelyinafast-pacedoutsourcedenvironment.
