Desert Hand and Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Bilingual(Spanish) Medical Receptionist (required) to join our fun and talented team.
Job Duties:
- Greeting patients and providing outstanding customer service
- Coordinating the care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge
- Answering phones
- Electronic scheduling
- Data entry
- Verifying current personal and financial information
- Verifying insurance and maintaining authorizations necessary for care
- Maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records
- Collecting posting and depositing patient payments
- Faxing filing and performing any other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Excellent telephone skills
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Preferred experience with Medical Manager Medisoft or other medical software
- Team player attitude energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
- Flexibility with hours
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Organization and ability to multi-task
